Function
Main Functions:
The Operations Automation Architect will integrate Infrastructure Operations Team for the client.
He/she will be responsible:
- Define an automation plan for a large and complex infrastructure environment.
- Aligning automation processes, tools, and strategies with business goals.
- Provide technical leadership in design and architecture of the automation framework.
- Analyze existing processes to identify candidates for automation.
- Design and develop automation solutions utilizing technologies such as Ansible Automation Platform or other automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess automation across the organization.
- Document automation solutions as needed to ensure continued efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review existing automation solutions to ensure they are performing as expected.
- Identify and address opportunities for the automation plan.
- Enforce best practices, standardize compliance, and optimize automated processes.
The Operations Automation Architect must have strong automation skills who can analyze current processes, identify opportunities for automation, design solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain automation across the organization.

Duties:
• Review and define operational automation systems, processes, and best practices
• Formulate strategic and operational automation objectives.
• Recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with team leaders to strategize & align long term solution for automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
• Evaluate, select and formulate best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different products and applications.
• Create a standard framework for automation.
• Develop automation strategy to support testing based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability.
Working Conditions:
• Work shifts of 8 hours covering the time range between 08h30 and 18h30 from Monday to Friday with some flexibility required when overtime is exceptionally needed.
Requirements
Employment and technical/certification requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven working experience as Automation Architect;
• 5+ years of experience in IT automation, including experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts
• Experience working with complex and large-scale environments
• Experience in architecting & building real-time, large scale IT systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Certifications in automation technologies are a plus
Languages:
• English proficient (CEFRL Level: Minimum B2, Ideally C1)
• Preferable 2nd language: French
