Function
In the Role of the Operations Architect, you will:
• Design and oversee the implementation of the target operating model for mission critical application support and maintenance services;
• Define, describe and agree with stakeholders on the ITSM process landscape required for the target operating model;
• Define the target Operational framework spanning across people, processes and tools within the organization of the customer;
• Setup Operations Service Design framework for both the Programme and the customer’s organizations itself;
• Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end IT systems monitoring solution based on monitoring integration rails;
• Set up and maintain contacts with operations units to understand operational activities, drivers, and requirements; consider operations solution strategies and alternatives for possible implementation;
• Provide operational leadership in the resolution of inter-program and inter-project issues and advice management, business areas, etc.;
• Guide the Programme and individual project teams on adherence to the designed operations architecture;
• Develop and coordinate operations architecture roadmaps and plans;
• Continuously research and assess new analysis approaches for potential use, and provide recommendations and subject matter expertise regarding trends, technology, tools and services;
• Check compliance within the operations architecture and reinforce adherence to standards, policies, procedures, etc.;
• Perform any other task in line with the main purpose of the job
Requirements
Must have Skills :
• Ability to manage stakeholders at a CXO level.
• Emotional Intelligence required to deal with people and influence them
• Ability to deliver consultancy services – understand customer’s needs andobjectives, distil the right ideas and forge them into the Operations Architecture.
• Demonstrable ability to distil complex idea into simple concepts which can presented and conveyed convincingly.
Must have Required Qualification:
• Hands on operations architecture and operations management experience including use of standard tools and frameworks;
• Excellent, hands-on knowledge and experience in setting up ITIL driven support and maintenance delivery organizations;
• Excellent knowledge of standards such asITIL, ITSM (must have);
• Ability to cope with complexity of the AS-IS operations environment and propose new solutions aligned to the views of the stakeholders;
• Ability to work independently in specific branch of the Programme,communicate results to the Programme and analyse associated risks;
• Air traffic domain experience (Flight, Flow, Routing, Capacity planning);
• Experience in IT Operations (support and maintenance of systems) of Air Traffic Control IT systems will be considered a great advantage;
• Employed/Contracted with large organizations
• Ideally Belgium based – or ability to travel to Belgium on a regular basis for customer intimacy.
• A minimum of10 yearsof relevant operations architecture and operations management experience to perform the advertised tasks;
• Experience in process mapping standards such as UML and BPMN;
• Experience in mapping business strategy to information strategy;

Desirable :Completed university studies of 4 years (Master’s degree) in a relevant domain (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
