Function
As Database Administrator in the Db2Products squad, you provide system management and application support on Db2, MQ, IDMS and related software in order to have a high available, secure and high performing database environment on z/OS mainframe.
Requirements
– You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– You can work independently, but you are also a team player
– You are a good communicator and stress resistant
– You work very accurately and structured
– You realize the importance of good documentation
– You are willing to carry out interventions after normal hours, also in the weekend. You will participate in the ‘on call’ system after a training period.
– You further develop our own technical expertise, follow up on the latest trends and developments in this evolving domain
– Solid knowledge of Db2 for z/OS
– Technical expertise in SQL and query tuning
– Basic skills and knowledge on z/OS: TSO, JCL, ISPF, REXX
– Knowledge of CA IDMS and IBM MQ is recommended.
– Fluent in Dutch and English
