Configuration/Deployment Manager: –

Introduction

Your primary objective is identifying, organizing, and controlling software and hardware configuration changes. Deploying new releases of applications in acceptance and production environments, is one of the many things you will do.

You will integrate in the DevOps team under the supervision of the DevOps manager.

Function

As a Configuration/Deployment Manager you will:

– Deploy new releases of applications in acceptance and production environments.

– Build and keep continuous integration.

– Manage the software configuration and follow up release management and controls.

– Give support of information systems like user requests related to data and configuration changes.

– Do in-depth analyses of incidents and identify potential solutions.

– Do continuous monitoring of information systems’ availability, performance and proper functioning.

– Analyze OS, application logs and IS performances.

– Establish/ document information systems’ operations procedures.

– Manage the development infrastructure (e.g. application servers).

– Consolidate and manage the licenses needed for the in-house development teams.

– Participate in coordination and project meetings.

Requirements

– Has knowledge of Windows operating system, oracle, Microsoft SQL server environments and Microsoft BizTalk server.

– Knows application servers and Team Foundation server.

– Has good experience or acquires quick knowledge on PKI, certificates, network architecture, components and protocols.

– Has experience with software deployments tools.

– Has experience in investigating issues and bugs in the applications.

– Has experience in database queries with SQL.

– Has experience with system, capacity and performance monitoring solutions. Dynatrace is a plus.

– Knows service desk management tools (including SMT).

– Is fluent in English. French is a plus.

– Has a bachelor degree and/or relevant experience of minimum 2 years.
