Business Analyst Senior – Luxembourg


We are currently looking for an Business Analysis for our client based in Luxembourg.

In the Role of the Business Analysis, you will:

Assist the business services in writing the business cases;

Business analysis of complex projects which will encompass the following tasks:

  • Requirements analysis,
  • Requirements elicitation;

– Write the business requirements document:

  • Describe the As-Is and To-Be scenario,
  • Co-author the business requirements with the subject matter experts,
  • Prepare the document management related deliverable,
  • Prepare the user stories and the test cases;

– Be the interface between the business experts on one side and the IT project manager, thesolution architects, the data governance office and the developers on the other side;

– Assist the IT developers and IT testers on the business and functional aspects of the projects,especially on data migrations and data cleaning exercises;

– Enhance the conceptual data model, the business processes and build the functional architecture of the project;

– Execute the business testing activities: writing test strategies, test cases, preparing test data,executing test cases.


The staff member must demonstrate knowledge in:

  • Document management systems (SharePoint) and portals;
  • Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies;
  • Process or Data Modelling techniques (BPMN, UML, Conceptual Data Modeling, etc.)

The staff member must demonstrate competence in:

  • Business analysis in large (more than 500 employees) financial organizations;
  • Document automation and workflow management;
  • Testing of IT applications in the financial sector;
  • SQL or a Business Intelligence tool (SAP Business Object, IBM Cognos, Lumira, etc.);
  • English writing skills (C1 European Level), French is recommended (B2 European Level).
